Bearing 608-2Z with two metal protective washers is capable of operating at very high speeds and, due to its versatility, has a wide application. Protective washers protect the bearing from leakage of grease and penetration of dust and dirt into the bearing cavity during the service life. They are installed in a recess in the outer ring and do not come into contact with the inner ring, forming a narrow gap with its surface. The protective washers are made of sheet steel. Bearing 608-2Z is filled with an appropriate amount of high-quality plastic working lubricant in clean factory conditions for the entire service life and is not subject to flushing or re-lubrication. Bearing 608-2Z does not require constant maintenance throughout the entire service life, as a rule, it is installed in hard-to-service components of products. Bearing 608-2Z accepts radial and small axial loads acting in both directions along the shaft axis and not exceeding 70% of the unused permissible radial load. Bearing 608-2Z is not recommended to be heated above 80°C during installation. The bearing can operate in the temperature range from -30°C to +110°C.
